If you are reading this post, you've probably taken a recorder home and will play during zoom class. To help you do so, here is a recorder fingering chart.
The chart does not show high F. to play high F, place your fingers in position to play G and add the pointer finger of your right hand on the fourth hole. Make a half hole on the back for your thumb. I'll go over this in class. As always remember the following:
1. Left hand goes on top.
2. Make sure you are fully covering holes with your finger pads.
3. Left thumb only lifts up fully for high D. Left thumb slides down halfway for high E and F.
4. Flicker the flame. Never blow out the candle.
5. The lower the note, the less air pressure you need.
